ULDINE N. ELROD

ANDERSON – Uldine Neal Elrod, 79, of 303 Centerville Road, widow of Claudie H. Elrod, died Friday, October 9, 2009 at her residence.

Born February 27, 1930 in Victor, WV she was the daughter of the late Walter and Zora Moody Neal. She was a Medical Technologist with AnMed Health for 25 years and Real Estate investor. She was a member of Barnette’s Grove Emmanuel Holiness Church.

Surviving are her 2 daughters, Claudene D. Elrod and Robyn E. Hanks (Raymond Hanks, Jr.) all of Anderson; 5 grandchildren, Chris Luper, Rhett Hanks, Amy Hanks Eskew, Trey Hanks and Morrise´ Mitchell and 2 great grandchildren, Anna Eskew and Troy Hanks. She was preceded in death by daughter and son in law, Gloria E. and Gary Luper, 3 brothers, Sam, Bill and Estel Neal and a sister, Dreama Jones.

Funeral service will be held at 11am Monday at Barnette’s Grove Emmanuel Holiness Church with Rev. Bob Hicks officiating. Burial will follow at 2pm Monday at Bethel Temple Holiness Church Cemetery in Clarksville, GA. The family will receive friends from 10 until 11am at the church prior to the service. The family is at their respective homes.
