ETTA W. FARMER

ANDERSON – Etta Werner Farmer, 87, of Anderson, widow of George Felton Farmer, went to be with her Lord and Savior Friday, October 23, 2009 at Rainey Hospice House.

Born January 12, 1922 in Pendleton, she was the daughter of the late E.P. and Janie Canup Werner. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include her daughter, Nancy Carlson of Anderson; son, Ron Farmer and wife, Linda of Brentwood, TN; four grandchildren, Nicki C. Lee and husband, Rick of Spartanburg, Melissa Bradley and husband, Ross of Murfreesboro, TN, Tina Crisp and Kim Ogan, both of Nashville, TN; seven great grandchildren; and one sister, Liz Wise of Martinez, GA.

Funeral services were held Saturday at Sullivan-King Mortuary, Northeast Chapel, conducted by Chaplain Nancy Blakely. Burial followed in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Road, Anderson, SC 29621.
