INEZ B. DICKSON

ANDERSON – Inez Burdette Dickson, 93, of 403 Jeb Stuart, widow of James M. Dickson, died Monday, October 26, 2009 at AnMed Health Medical Center.

Born May 30, 1916 in Westminster, she was the daughter of the late Sidney and Minnie Lowe Burdette. She was a homemaker and member of Trinity United Methodist Church. Surviving are her sons, Jimmy (Mary Alice) Dickson and Mike (Nan) Dickson both of Pendleton; daughters, Kathy (Jimmy) Hammond of Anderson, Teresa (Jimmy) Hofheimer of Glencoe, IL and Stephanie (Danny) Fielding of Anderson; 16 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren and a sister, Tommie McAlister of Taylors, SC. She was preceded in death by a daughter, June Read; grandson, Brandon Lewis; sisters, Ruth Holder, Irene Marcengil, Eunice Taylor and Lucille Burdette and brothers, Gus, Cecil and Horace Burdette.

Graveside service will be held at 4pm Wednesday at Forest Lawn Memorial Park with Rev. Paul Frey officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6 until 8pm at Sullivan-King Mortuary, Northeast Chapel, 3205 Hwy 81 N. The family is at the home of the daughter, Kathy Hammond, 229 S. Boulevard.
