DORIS O. KAY RICHARDSON
ANDERSON – Doris O. Kay Richardson, 80, of 302 Broadway Lake Road, widow of Louis Jackson (Jack) Richardson, died Friday, October 2, 2009 at the Rainey Hospice House.
Born in Belton, she was the daughter of the late James Roy and Sara Willingham Kay. She was a graduate of Belton High School and was a homemaker. Mrs. Richardson was of the Baptist Faith.
Survivors include her daughter, Doris Diane Richardson of Anderson; sister, Virginia Human of Williamston; sister-in-law, Evelyn Richardson of Anderson; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Lou Emma Schmidt, and a brother, James Hulon Kay.
Funeral services will be held at 4:30 p.m. Sunday at Sullivan-King Mortuary, Northeast Chapel, conducted by Rev. Billy Slatten. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 3:30 until 4:30 p.m. Sunday at the mortuary, 3205 North Highway 81, Anderson. The family is at the home of her sister-in-law, Evelyn Richardson, 422 Broadway Lake Road, Anderson.
