LUCILLE CAMPBELL

 December 16, 1919 – November 23, 2009

IVA, SC - Sara Lucille Clinkscales Campbell, age 89 of 115 Hendrix Lane, wife of the late Joe F. Campbell, died Monday, November 23, 2009 at her residence.

Born in Iva, SC on December 16, 1919, Mrs. Campbell was a daughter of the late John Frank Clinkscales and Sarah Jane Pender Clinkscales.  She was a homemaker and faithfully worked on the family farm.  She was a founding member of Shamrock Garden Club in Iva and a member of Generostee A.R.P. Church. 

She is survived by a brother, Edwin “Ed” Clinkscales and his wife, Bobbie of Iva; sister, Gladys McMullan and her husband, Horace of Great Falls, SC; several nieces and nephews and special friend Sue Cook. 

In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by brothers, David and Eugene “Scratch” Clinkscales. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, November 27, 2009 at 11:00 am at Generostee A. R. P. Church officiated by the Reverend Phillip Wade.  Interment will follow in Iva City Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the church on Friday from 10:00 am until 11:00 am.  Mrs. Campbell will be placed in the church at 9:45 am on Friday.
