Patti Ann Brooks

ANDERSON- Patti Ann Brooks was born on Dec. 12, 1957 at Anderson Memorial Hospital, where she was employed for almost 29 years in the Laboratory and the last few as System Coordinator. She died in route to Durban, South Africa as a delegate to the International Convention of Jehovah's Witnesses. She was a 1976 graduate of T. L. Hanna High School and of Tri-County Technical School. Patti was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses on September 9, 1971 and was a faithful member of the congregation.


She was the daughter of Hulon and Marsha Brooks of Anderson. She is also survived by her sisters Karan Stratford and her husband, Ray, Jan Smith and her husband, Brian, and a brother Stan Brooks, and his wife, Vivyan, all of Anderson. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews: Courtney, Candace, Geoffrey, Myles, Michael, Mackenzie, and Lilly and a large extended family.


The Memorial service will be held at 3:00pm Saturday, December 5, 2009 at the North Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1401 East Calhoun St. Anderson, SC. Local elder Martin E. Harbeck will conduct the service. The family will receive friends at the home of Stan Brooks, 1810 Lindale Rd. Anderson, SC after the service. Memorials may be made to the Worldwide Work of Jehovah's Witnesses.
