TERESA JOYCE SIMPSON

April 20, 1945 – September 21, 2009     
                      
PENDLETON, SC - Teresa Joyce Simpson, age 64, of 2734 Lebanon Road, died Monday, September 21, 2009 at the Rainey Hospice House in Anderson. She was employed with Anderson County for over 26 years in the Tax Assessors and Building and Codes Offices.  She loved cooking and enjoyed dancing.  She was a member of Concord Baptist Church.
 
Survivors include her daughters, April Gaines and her husband, Craig of Douglasville, GA and Kelly Simpson and her husband, Rick Waters of Anderson, SC; three grandchildren, Whitney Gaines, Ashley Gaines and Mick Waters; special uncle, Fred Hammond and very close cousin, Barbara Campbell. In addition to her mother, Tulan Christine Hammond Ramage, she was predeceased by her aunt by whom she was raised, Inez Simpson and a brother, Joe Boyd Ramage.
 
A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, September 24, 2009 at 11:00 am at Forest Lawn Memorial Park officiated by the Reverend Bob Marcaurelle. The family will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Wednesday from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. The family will be at the home of her daughter, Kelly Simpson, 303 Ashwood Lane, Anderson, SC.
