NANCY STAMPS

June 8, 1934 – March 8, 2010
 
ANDERSON, SC - Nancy “Nana” C. Heath Stamps, age 75, wife of Haskell Stamps of 8 Anchor Point, passed away on Monday, March 8, 2010 at the AnMed Health Medical Center.
 
Born in Penrose, NC on June 8, 1934, Mrs. Stamps was a daughter of Lovella Merrill Heath of Penrose, NC and the late James Herbert “Hub” Heath.  She was a member of New Hope United Methodist Church and a member of the Ladies of the Moose.
 
Survivors include her husband, of the home and mother of Penrose, NC; daughters, Diann Patterson and her husband, Joey and Gail Anderson and her daughter, Danielle, all of Anderson, SC; stepchildren; Sam Stamps and his wife, Cindy of Greenville, SC, Tony Stamps and his wife, Barbara of Jacksonville, FL and Sharon Senn and her husband, Foster, of Newberry, SC; siblings; Frances Clark and her husband, Garfield and James Heath and his wife, Jo, all of Penrose, NC.  Eleven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and numerous “adopted” children also survive.
 
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a brother, Wayne Heath and son-in-law, Rev. Ray Anderson, Jr.
 
The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at 12:30 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home officiated by the Reverend Phillip Stout and Reverend Joyce Murphy.  Entombment will follow in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 11:00 am until Noon.
 
The family will be at the home of Diann Patterson, 210 Holly Ridge Drive, Anderson.
