SHAUN PRUITT

DECEMBER 10, 1967 – JUNE 20, 2013

ANERSON, SC - Shaun Richard Pruitt, age 45, husband of Merissa Dawn Vaughn Pruitt passed away on Thursday, June 20, 2013 at his residence.

Born in Atlanta, GA he was the son of Edith Louise Whitman Hopson and husband, Lee R. Hopson of Toccoa, GA; daughters, Kathryn Pruitt of Anderson, and Heather Dotson of Dallas, TX and her daughter, Brook Dotson; brothers, Dean Pruitt and Scott Pruitt both of Anderson.  He was preceded in death by his brother; Anthony Curtis Pruitt. 

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, June 26, 2013, in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends following the service. 

In lieu of flowers, it is suggested that memorials be made to the daughter, Kathryn Pruitt Trust Account, c/o Arthur State Bank, 602 North Main Street, Anderson, SC 29621.
