LOUISE R. FLOYD

ANDERSON – Louise Riggins Floyd, 78, of 101 Sorrel Oaks, wife of John Floyd, died Tuesday, November 24, 2009 at her residence. After a long illness, her family has found joy and peace that she is now home with her Father in Heaven.

Born March 7, 1931 in Six Mile, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Henrietta Riggins. She was retired from the family business as the Administrative Manager. She was a member of North Anderson Baptist Church.

Surviving are her husband, John Floyd, of the home; 3 daughters and their husbands, Sheri and Frank Busterna of Belton, Gina and Mark Potter of Hampstead, NC and Melisa and Kevin McMullen of Moyock, NC; 6 grandchildren, Kristopher Birdwell and his wife Erica, Joshua, Kevin Daniel, Patrick, Sarah and James McMullen and sister-in-law, Eloise Riggins, of Columbia. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Keith P. Riggins and Harold D. Riggins and sister-in-law, Jeanette Riggins.

Memorial service will be held at 2:30 pm Saturday, November 28 at North Anderson Baptist Church with Rev. Bill Rigsby officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 until 2:30pm at the church. The family is at the home.
