DON R. CARTEE

FEBRUARY 23, 1947 – DECEMBER 13, 2009
 
ANDERSON, SC – Donald Ray Cartee, age 62, of 1051 Country View Road, passed away on Sunday, December 13, 2009, at the AnMed Health Medical Center.
 
Born in Anderson, SC, on February 23, 1947, he was the son of the late Doyle Merrill Cartee and Azalee Cobb Cartee. He served in the US Army and US Air Force and was a graduate of Clemson University.  Mr. Cartee retired from BellSouth and was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.
 
The Funeral Service will be held at 4:30 pm on Wednesday, December 16, 2009, in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home, conducted by the Reverend Dale Bradley.  Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
