LORENE G. ERWIN

SEPTEMBER 18, 1918 -DECEMBER 12, 2009
 
ANDERSON, SC – Lorene Green Erwin, age 91, formerly of Beauregard Avenue, passed away on Saturday, December 12, 2009, at Summit Place.
 
Born September 18, 1918, in Jackson County, AL, she was the daughter of the late Joe Bill Green and Fannie Mae Robertson Green.  She was a homemaker and a member of Trinity United Methodist Church.
 
Survivors include her children: daughters, Sharon G. Fowler and husband, Scott Finley of Anderson, SC, and Marcia G. Duncan and husband, Jim Duncan of Princeton, W. Va.; son, Jimmie G. Erwin and wife, Barbara Erwin of West Chester, PA; four grandchildren: Jimmie G. Erwin, III, Debbie A. Hammond, Dylan E. Fowler, and Mary Duncan Hylton; and four great-grandchildren.
 
She was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Jimmie G. Erwin, Sr.; and her brothers, Rayford W. Green and Joseph H. Green.
 
The Funeral Service will be held at 3 pm on Wednesday, December 16, 2009, in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home, conducted by the Reverend Paul Frey and the Reverend Robert N. Carlisle.  Entombment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service on Wednesday.
