FRANK PRUITT

December 26, 1933 – December 18, 2009
 
ANDERSON, SC - Franklin Delano Roosevelt Pruitt, age 75, of 103 Prairie Lane, died December 18, 2009.
 
Frank was a son of the late James Hamp Pruitt and Ida Belle Broome Pruitt.  He served in the US Air Force and retired from Deland, Florida School Board of Education.  He attended Wellington Pentecostal Holiness Church.
 
Survivors include his wife, Linda Gilstrap Pruitt; brother, Charles Pruitt of Raleigh, NC; sisters, Cecil Gilbert and Edith Gunter, of Anderson; brother-in-law, Pete Gilstrap and his wife, Teresa; Sean Suttles; mother-in-law, Edith Gilstrap and numerous sisters-in-law; nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by siblings, Ruth Himmelberger, Harrison and Edward Pruitt.
 
A Graveside Service will be held on Sunday, December 20, 2009 at 3:00 pm at New Silver Brook Cemetery. The family will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Saturday, December 19, 2009 from 3-5pm. The family will be at their respective homes.
