DOUG EARWOOD

ANDERSON – Byran Douglas  Earwood, 61, of 125 Shadow Creek Lane, died Tuesday, December 8, 2009 at his residence.

Born March 8, 1948 in Anderson, he was the son of the late William Floyd Earwood, Jr. and Jeanette Montgomery Earwood. He was a graduate of Clemson University. Mr. Earwood was employed with Southern Bell in Atlanta and retired from the State of Georgia in Rehab Services. He attended Covenant Baptist Church.

Survivors include his son, Jason Earwood of the home; aunt and uncle, Sharlene and Jerry Jones of North Augusta; Jason’s mother and her husband, Marilyn and Alan Saxon of Anderson, who were his special caregivers.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Sullivan-King Mortuary, Northeast Chapel, conducted by Rev. Steve Silvey. Burial will be in Springwood Cemetery, Greenville. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Thursday at the mortuary, 3205 North Highway 81, Anderson.
