GENO PATTERSON

March 6, 1946 – August 28, 2009

Webb Eugene “Geno” Patterson, Jr., age 63, husband of Brenda Miller Patterson of 118 Green Forest Drive, passed away Friday, August 28, 2009 at the Rainey Hospice House in Anderson.
 
Born in Anderson, SC, Mr. Patterson was a son of Leila Fletcher Patterson of Anderson and the late Webb Eugene Patterson, Sr. He was a 1964 graduate of T.L. Hanna High School. Mr. Patterson retired from Larry Stone Construction and was a member of Covenant Baptist Church where he sang with the sanctuary choir and was involved in numerous building projects.
 
Survivors include his wife of the home; two sons, Daryl Patterson and Jonathan Patterson, both of Anderson; two daughters, Jennifer Harris of Fellsmere, FL and Suzanne Hessler of Denver, CO; a brother, Wesley Patterson and a sister, Gayle Patterson, both of Anderson; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
 
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Covenant Baptist Church on Monday, August 31, 2009 at 11:00 AM officiated by Reverends Steve Silvey and Mark Dickson. A family committal service will be held in Forest Lawn Memorial Park on Monday. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, August 30, 2009 from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM. The family will be at the home of his son, Daryl Patterson, 411 Pioneer Lane, Anderson. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Road, Anderson, SC 29621.
