Glenda Gail York

                                                    September 6, 1951 – September 9, 2009
Starr, SC - Glenda Gail York, 58, wife of Elonzo York of 226 Robinwood Circle, died Wednesday, September 09, 2009 at Abbeville Area Medical Center. Born in Anderson, SC, Gail was a daughter of  the late John Glenn Thrasher, Sr., and Virginia Hembree Thrasher.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and sister.
 
Survivors include her husband of forty years, Elonzo Ray York; son, Bobby Ray York of the home; daughter, Brenda Gail York of Starr; siblings, John Glenn Thrasher, Jr., James Thrasher, Sharon Davis and Donald Thrasher; special niece, Lisa Stone and other nieces and nephews and five grandchildren, Rochelle York, Tyvon Galloway, Matthew York, Justin and Jessica York.
 
A private family memorial service will be held. The family is at the home of her daughter, 205 Pettigrew Road, Starr, SC. A message of condolence may be sent by visiting
